Three levels of opportunity
These are levels of opportunity, not three confirmed workstreams:
- Expertise. Large-scale clinical and population research expertise for choosing questions, outcomes, and validation strategies.
- Authorised analysis. Project-specific, authorised analysis of relevant register or biobank information, with possible external validation of methods developed here.
- New measurement. New speech or behavioural measurements aligned with existing Danish clinical and register environments.
The explicit caveat
Large Danish registers do not necessarily contain repeated speech recordings, and a research relationship does not provide automatic data access. Access, data type, analysis location, approvals, and new measurement requirements are to be determined for each project.
This caveat is a safeguard and must be preserved wherever the Danish connection is described.
Why it matters to this ecosystem
External and prospective validation is the weakest link in most single-site digital biomarker work. A Danish route offers exactly that — provided the access questions above are answered project by project. It also connects to the broader funding landscape, where the Lundbeck Foundation and EU widening instruments are relevant.
